This not only points out the direction for the entire automotive industry but also provides a clear timetable and development path for carbon neutrality in whole vehicle transportation.

From a technical perspective, electrification is one of the key means to achieve carbon neutrality in whole vehicle transportation. Currently, several domestic automakers have launched different types of pure electric trucks, making significant progress in terms of range and charging speed. Taking BYD as an example, its T8 series of pure electric heavy-duty trucks can travel over 200 kilometers under full load, meeting the demand for short-distance urban delivery; while NIO Auto has solved the charging problem for long-distance transportation through its battery swap model, providing more convenient services for heavy truck users.

In addition to electrification, hydrogen fuel cells are also an important way to achieve carbon neutrality in whole vehicle transportation. Currently, many enterprises in China have begun to layout the hydrogen fuel commercial vehicle market. This model adopts advanced hydrogen storage technology and intelligent management systems, which can significantly improve operational efficiency while ensuring safety.

It should be noted that to promote the implementation of carbon neutrality in whole vehicle transportation, a series of incentive measures and support policies have been introduced. On the one hand, financial subsidies are given to enterprises purchasing new energy vehicles, and related fees such as purchase tax are exempted; on the other hand, enterprises are encouraged to optimize resource allocation through shared mobility and multimodal transport, reducing unnecessary resource waste. Of course, there are still many challenges in promoting carbon neutrality in whole vehicle transportation. First is the cost issue. Although the price of new energy vehicles is gradually decreasing year by year, it still has a certain gap compared to traditional fuel vehicles. Second is the insufficient supporting facilities. Although China has made significant progress in the construction of new energy vehicle infrastructure in recent years, coverage blind spots still exist in remote areas or specific scenarios. Finally, there are legal and regulatory constraints, such as the immature used car trading market affecting the circulation of second-hand new energy vehicles.

Facing these difficulties, we need to adopt comprehensive strategies to address them. First, further efforts should be made to increase RD investment, continuously improving the technological level and product quality of new energy vehicles, and reducing costs; second, the supporting service system should be accelerated to include the construction of charging piles, hydrogen stations, and other facilities, and establish a sound recycling system for spent batteries; third, international cooperation and exchanges should be strengthened to draw on advanced experiences and technical achievements from abroad, and work together to achieve global carbon neutrality goals.
